Galerie Chevalier

The GALERIE CHEVALIER is located in Paris on quai Voltaire, at the heart of the prestigious antique dealers and art galleries quarter, the Carré Rive Gauche. The Galerie Chevalier specialises in antique, modern and contemporary tapestries, archaeological textiles and textile art.

GALERIE CHEVALIER is a family affair. It was founded by Dominique Chevalier and his wife Nicole de Pazzis Chevalier, but the gallery is an extension of the family’s tapestry and carpet restoration business that started in 1917.

GALERIE CHEVALIER’s raison d’être is finding quality pieces for their international clients. The gallery has participated in the Paris Biennale Internationale des Antiquaires, the Brussels Art Fair (BRAFA), New York’s International Fine Art and Antique Dealers Show and the TEFAF in Maastricht.

Today, the two daughters Céline Letessier and Amélie-Margot Chevalier pursue the work started by their parents: encouraging and promoting tapestry in France and throughout the world.
