Leclerc bearing three French stamps and a circular date stamp reading INAUGURATION PAQUEBOT GENL LECLERC 5. 12. 1951 BORDEAUX. A matching philatelic souvenir card for the Compagnie Maritime des Chargeurs Reunis features a color illustration of an ocean liner and is addressed to an agent in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with corresponding 1951 cancellations and Verlaine stamps.
