1782 Massachusetts Revolutionary War Tax Writ

Original Massachusetts tax collection warrant dated May 16, 1782, issued under the authority of Henry Gardner, Treasurer and Receiver-General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Printed document with manuscript entries, directed to the sheriff of Lincoln County or his deputy, ordering the collection of delinquent taxes assessed under a resolution of the Massachusetts General Court dated October 24, 1781.
