Publisher unknown, 1868. Pamphlet, one sheet folded to form eight uncut pages, a political attack issued by the Republican Party criticizing the Democratic Party, alleging its support of former Confederate military and political leaders active during the Civil War, intended to stoke outrage in the post-Civil War North. Printed on period paper with an illustrated cover featuring wood-engraved portraits of Wade Hampton (1818-1902) and Nathan B. Forrest (1821-1877). Approximate dimensions: 9 1/4 x 5 1/2 in.
