1875-CC Liberty Head Eagle. EF-40 (PCGS).

A Second Key Date 1875-CC Eagle 1875-CC Liberty Head Eagle. EF-40 (PCGS). Suitably bold in a lightly circulated survivor of this challenging issue, both sides exhibit soft olive undertones to dominant honey-gold color. Scattered handling marks are offset by traces of frosty luster, the latter most pronounced when the coin is admired with the aid of direct lighting. As with all early date Carson City Mint eagles the 1875-CC (just 7,715 pieces produced) is scarce to rare at all levels of preservation. This is an esthetically pleasing survivor at the certified EF level that is worthy of serious bidder consideration. PCGS# 8673. NGC ID: 265B. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
