Obv: Similar to the design that the Mint adopted for regular issue Liberty Head nickel production in 1883, although the stars around the border are arranged in a somewhat different manner. Rev: The No CENTS design that the Mint adopted for regular issue Liberty Head nickel production in 1883. Vivid rose-red surfaces are fully struck with just a bit of faint carbon precluding an even higher grade. This is the copper counterpart to the Judd-1690 specimen in nickel offered above, and it is a scarcer format for this type with about 20 or so specimens believed extant per the uspatterns.com website.
