Numbered 2943/1101, this original Bulletin de Garantie was issued on October 17, 1967, for chassis 10453 – the sixth of just 10 Ferrari 275 GTB/4*S NART Spiders built and the example delivered new to actor, racer, and Hollywood icon Steve McQueen. Addressed to the service department of Luigi Chinetti Motors Inc. at 600 Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut, it identifies the model as “275/GTS” and, more specifically, “GTS SPYDER NART.” The consignor, a Los Angeles-area automobile enthusiast, acquired this document decades ago among a collection of papers associated with McQueen, and has carefully preserved it ever since.
