1975 Yamaha XS650 Bobber by Mike Woolaway

Introduced in 1969, the Yamaha XS650 paired a robust parallel-twin engine with classic British-inspired styling, earning a reputation for durability, versatility, and strong performance. This XS650 was built by the accomplished custom builder Mike Woolaway, formerly of Deus Ex Machina in Venice Beach, California. The transformation of this bike was radical, encompassing a frame conversion for a minimal and purposeful silhouette, a custom-fabricated fuel tank for visual distinction, upgraded suspension, and a period paint finish. The fitting of a large four-leading-shoe front drum brake adds competition-derived character. The bike is also fitted with a desirable Motogadget gauge and VM carburetors for increased performance. This is a machine of considerable visual appeal and an authentic handcrafted identity. car
