2009 Quintarelli Giuseppe, Valpolicella - Valpolicella DOC - 3 Bottles (0.75L)

Giuseppe Quintarelli – Valpolicella DOC 2009 – Lot of 3 Bottles Prestigious lot consisting of 3 bottles of 0.75 L Valpolicella DOC 2009, produced by Giuseppe Quintarelli, historic producer of Valpolicella Classica and one of the most prestigious names in Italian oenology. Quintarelli's Valpolicella represents one of the most traditional and sought-after expressions of the denomination. It is a wine characterized by great elegance, complexity, and aging potential, produced according to the winery’s artisanal philosophy. Traditional vinification and long maturation in large oak barrels allow the wine to develop over time a complex aromatic profile, with ripe cherry, red and dark fruits, spices, aromatic herbs, balsamic notes, leather, and light evolutionary nuances. On the palate it shows good structure and depth, with refined tannins, a pleasant freshness, and a persistent finish. The 2009 vintage’s age now allows appreciating the tertiary characteristics developed during bottle aging. Wine and winery history Giuseppe Quintarelli winery is located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, on the hills of Negrar, in the province of Verona. Giuseppe Quintarelli was one of the most important figures in Veronese viticulture of the 20th and 21st centuries. His production philosophy is based on tradition, manual grape selection, low yields, slow fermentation, and long aging in wood. Quintarelli wines are particularly valued for their ability to slowly evolve over time and for a style that prioritizes complexity, balance, and longevity over immediate impact. Valpolicella represents one of the estate’s fundamental labels and constitutes an important expression of the Valpolicella Classica terroir. To drink now or to keep Drink now or further keep. The 2009 vintage is fully mature today and can be tasted, but a well-stored Quintarelli bottle can continue to develop complexity over time. For tasting, a temperature of about 18 °C is recommended, and given the wine’s age, opening in advance or gentle aeration can help express the bouquet at its best. The bottles can also be kept longer in optimal cellar conditions, away from light, with stable temperature and without vibrations. Shipping method The three bottles will be carefully packed with professional wine-bottle-specific material, using impact protectors and adequate separation between bottles. The shipment will be made via trackable courier, with reinforced packaging designed to minimize the risk of breakage or damage during transport.
