2011 Giuseppe Quintarelli - Amarone della Valpolicella - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC 2011 Quintarelli Giuseppe is a Veneto red of rare depth, born in the classic Valpolicella zone and signed by a winery symbol of tradition. In the glass it shows an intense garnet color; the aromatic profile recalls sour cherry, ripe dark fruit, bitter almond, tobacco, licorice, cacao and spices. The palate is warm and powerful, yet it preserves balance, precision and a freshness able to sustain the richness of the fruit. The enveloping texture and the long finish make it a wine for contemplation and table, ideal with braises, game, substantial roasts and aged cheeses. Served with proper decanting time and in large glasses, it gradually reveals balsamic and tertiary nuances. A prestigious 2011 vintage, meant for those seeking complexity, elegance and the unmistakable character of a great Amarone Classico.
