One of just 68 built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bob Tasca’s legendary Cobra Jet. Track-only Mustang specifically built to compete in NHRA and Super Stock racing. Powered by a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger atop a 5.2-liter Super Cobra Jet V-8 engine with a bore of 3.70 in., stroke of 3.666 in., and a compression ratio of 9.7:1. Backed by a three-speed, heavy-duty transmission with Ratchet shifter and built in Line-Loc. Equipped with wheelie bar, Strange Engineering brake system, and 9-in. rear axle with a 3.89:1 gear. Rides on a set of special Cobra Jet 50th Anniversary Wheels, 26×4-15 in the front and 30×9-15 at the rear. Further equipped with a rear-mounted Stroud reusable drag parachute. Interior features a Watson racing roll cage, Racetech fixed-back seats with Cobra Jet 50th Anniversary stitching, RJS Racing equipment seat belts, Sparco quick-release steering wheel, RacePak digital dashboard, dash-mounted DSL shift light, and a custom switch panel.
