2018 Prunotto Vigna Colonnello - Piedmont - 6 Bottles (0.75L)

A Rare Icon of Barolo: The Excellence of the Single Vineyard in Original Case The Barolo Riserva Bussia Vigna Colonnello 2018 represents the absolute pinnacle of Prunotto's production (owned by the Marchesi Antinori family). This prestigious Reserve originates from a historic one-hectare plot within the famous MGA Bussia in Monforte d'Alba, characterized by a unique soil rich in Sant'Agata pink marls and sands that give the wine a silky elegance and extraordinary longevity. The 2018 vintage stands out for its refined aromatic profile, freshness, and impeccable balance. Vinified with extreme care and aged for over four years between oak and bottle before release, the Vigna Colonnello offers complex scents of dried violet, crunchy cherry, sweet tobacco, licorice, and mineral balsamic notes, supported by a noble, enveloping tannic structure. Produced in extremely limited quantities, this lot of 6 bottles housed in their Original Wooden Case (OWC) sealed/completed represents a premier opportunity for both great collectors and investors in fine wines.
