Château Lafleur du Roy 2019 – Pomerol AOP – Grand Cru de Bordeaux – 4 x 75 cl Harvest capsules From the prestigious Pomerol appellation, Château Lafleur du Roy is an exceptional red wine combining elegance, aromatic richness and great finesse. Born from a unique terroir composed of sandy-gravel soils and “crasse de fer” (iron-rich clay), it expresses the nobility of the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Produced mainly from Merlot (85%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), it offers a remarkable balance between roundness, structure and complexity. Merlot provides a velvety, indulgent texture, while the Cabernets reinforce aromatic finesse, structure and the wine’s aging potential. Aged in oak barrels for 18 months The color is deep, with garnet highlights. The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe dark fruits, notably cassis, blackberry and black cherry, enriched with spicy, woody and slightly floral notes. In the mouth, the attack is silky and ample, carried by melted tannins and a beautiful overall harmony. The finish is long and elegant, marked by a subtle mineral and woody touch. This wine charms with its balance between restrained power and elegance. Its aging potential of 15 to 20 years allows it to progressively develop more complexity and depth with time. A Pomerol to age and for character. No shipments to IRELAND or NORWAY and outside EUROPE, shipments being systematically blocked by customs.
