2020 Conterno Nervi Gattinara Vigna Valferana - Piedmont - 6 Bottles (0.75L)

Gattinara DOCG Vigna Valferana 2020, produced by Nervi, the historic winery of Upper Piedmont now owned by the Giacomo Conterno family, one of the most prestigious and sought-after names in Italian enology. The Vigna Valferana represents one of the estate’s most important cru plots. The wine is produced from Nebbiolo coming from this single vineyard in Gattinara, a region famous for its volcanic-origin soils and for wines characterized by great elegance, minerality and extraordinary aging potential. The 2020 vintage offers a refined and complex wine, with the classic profile of Nebbiolo from Alto Piemonte: red fruit, floral notes, spices and a pronounced mineral component, supported by fine tannins and a long finish. A bottle particularly interesting for both lovers of great Nebbiolo and for Giacomo Conterno collectors, with excellent aging potential in the cellar.
