This cuvée is produced from Roussanne, the emblematic grape of the Chignin-Bergeron appellation, where it goes by the local name Bergeron. The grapes come from the Châteaux area, a south-facing terroir that lends the wine ripeness, concentration and depth. In the glass, Les Christine 2021 reveals a broad, refined and vibrant profile. Notes of apricot, honey, flowers and delicate spices unfold into a dense, silky palate balanced by a fine mineral freshness. The finish, long and saliva-inducing, testifies to the precision of the 2021 vintage and the domaine’s distinctive style. A deeply gastronomic white wine, it superbly accompanies lake or sea fish, poultry in creamy sauces, refined Savoyard dishes, and mountain cheeses aged, such as tomme or reblochon.
