2022 Richard Branson

Bold yet graceful; this Syrah offers an exquisite balance of intensity and refinement. Wild berries, violet, and a whisper of cracked black pepper gently unfold in the glass, followed by a silky, polished palate of red fruit and spice. Subtle oak ageing lends structure without masking its pure expression. What elevates this wine further is its provenance: Mont Rochelle is part of Virgin Limited Edition, the collection of boutique luxury properties founded by the Virgin Group. Under Virgin stewardship, the estate is reimagined not only as a world-class winery but as a holistic luxury retreat, where every detail, from vineyard practices to guest experiences, reflects Virgin’s ambition for distinctiveness, quality and storytelling. This isn’t simply a bottle to enjoy, it’s a wine born out of a visionary enterprise that fuses hospitality, terroir and brand prestige. A true gem for connoisseurs who appreciate narrative as much as nuance.
