20th century Chinese fish tank

Descriptio Cobalt blue glazed porcelain with polychrome enamels. Dimensions: 35 cm x 41 cm x 41 cm. Large piece decorated with courtly scenes framed by white reserves on a deep blue background. The composition integrates human figures, furniture, and traditional architecture, surrounded by floral motifs, birds, and butterflies in vivid enamels. The base features a geometric fretwork in ochre and blue tones. The quality of the design and the vivid colors are typical of products exported from Canton in the mid-19th century, associated with the aesthetics of the Qing Dynasty. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
