Larimar is a rare variety of pectolite, distinguished by its stunning blue to blue-green hues, often interspersed with white veining that resembles ocean waves. Its unique coloration is due to the presence of copper within its mineral structure. Larimar is a relatively soft stone, with a Mohs hardness of 4.5 to 5, making it suitable for jewelry but requiring care during use. The stone’s silky luster and vibrant patterns make it highly sought after, especially for cabochon cuts. Believed to embody calming and healing properties, Larimar is often associated with tranquility and emotional balance, making it a favorite among collectors and jewelry enthusiasts. Composition: Pectolite. Origin: Exclusively found in the Dominican Republic, primarily in the mountainous regions of Barahona. *SHIPPING* Shipping is always carried out with a tracking code, paying the utmost attention and care to the packaging of the object to preserve its beauty and current condition.
