3 Fonteinen - Nicolas Jacob - Single Barrel Macvin Lambik - 75cl

Super Rare Bottle of 3 Fonteinen - Bottle count : 257 bottle date: 25/07/2024 For this Macvin Lambik, a two-and-a-half-year-old 3 Fonteinen lambik was matured on a two-hundred-litre MacVin barrel from Nicolas Jacob. A native to his region, Nicolas learnt the craft with Domaine Macle and Ganevat. The Macvin barrel we acquired is one of only a few from Jacob’s cellar. Macvin is a muted wine made of marc and grape must, giving it its refined and complex and sweet dessert-like characteristics. Both the base grapes and all lambik ingredients are locally sourced and organically grown. The weighted average age of this lambik upon bottling was more than 30 months.
