The lot also features a hand-carved Asante style figurative wooden comb from Ghana, with a handle depicting a seated male and female pair with ringed necks and geometric scarification, above seven tines. The third item is a Kenyan Kisii soapstone lidded box carved in the form of a stylized face, featuring a black dyed finish with incised dot-work and stippled patterns, contrasting with the natural cream-colored interior.
