Alla auktioner / Asiatisk keramik & konsthantverk / 3x Divinità del Feng Shui: Fu
An incredible and fascinating complete set consisting of three Chinese porcelain sculptures, glossy and finely hand-glazed, depicting the Sanxing (The Three Stars), known in Western culture and in Feng Shui as Fu, Lu and Shou. This lot represents not only a refined work of Eastern ceramic craftsmanship from the second half of the 20th century, but also encloses an ancient cosmic bond. In Chinese astronomical tradition, these three deities personify the three stars of Orion's Belt. Legend has it that when the constellation is clearly visible in the sky, the three deities descend to Earth to bless the homes of men. The sculptures immediately captivate the eye with their vivid colors and the miniature detailing of the faces, smiles, and classic iconographic attributes: - Fu (Happiness and Good Fortune): with his red robe and the RuYi scepter - Lu (Prosperity and Success): in formal green imperial-official robes - Shou (Longevity and Health): the elderly bearded figure in the center, grasping the legendary immortality peach A decorative magnetic set, perfect for lovers of Oriental-inspired home decor, vintage aesthetics, and Feng Shui disciplines, designed to attract positive energy and balance to any environment it graces. Origin: China (export-production from the mid-20th century, around the 1960s) Marks: Each statue bears on the underside the original factory red ink stamp with the respective catalog codes of the model Good vintage condition. The glazes are glossy and the colors vivid – See photos which are an integral part of the description The three sculptures are offered together as a single indivisible lot, thus preserving harmony, collecting value, and the deep symbolic meaning of the trio.
