This historically significant ephemera collection captures the heights of luxury and tragic milestones across Henry Flagler's premier Palm Beach and St. Augustine properties between 1890 and 1927. The grouping is highlighted by an original March 21, 1925 silver gelatin press photograph by the Western Newspaper Union depicting the grand exterior of The Breakers Hotel before its destruction, complete with its original typed press caption strip detailing the catastrophic fire adhered to the reverse. The collection also features an exceptional 1890 Washington's Birthday holiday dinner menu for the Hotel Alcazar under manager Jos. P. Greaves, showcasing a striking cover lithograph of a 42-star United States flag. Completing the presentation are two elite Palm Beach dining documents: a 1925 Royal Poinciana dinner menu featuring a green intertwined palm frond monogram and a 1927 post-reconstruction Breakers luncheon menu featuring a stylized fish device and patio afternoon tea announcement.
