Collection of Cunard and Cunard White Star Line promotional and technical ephemera dating from the 1930s through the 1970s. The group features materials for the R.M.S. Aquitania, R.M.S. Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2). Included is a pictorial R.M.S. Aquitania promotional booklet with a color cover illustration and a purple ink travel agent stamp for Lawdale Agency and Loan Corporation, Chicago. A Cunard White Star booklet titled The Queen Mary Comparisons illustrates the ship's scale. The QE2 materials consist of a large format promotional sheet titled SHIPS HAVE BEEN BORING LONG ENOUGH The New Cunard Queen Elizabeth 2, and a typed press information sheet on Cunard letterhead detailing the interior design contributions of Dennis Lennon and James Gardner. Technical and passenger materials for the QE2 include a booklet of accommodation plans and a passenger pocket companion printed in the U.S.A. and dated February 1975.
