A DIVISION ONE BRASS PICTORIAL DOG BUTTON

1 Large 19th century running dogs with cut steels. From the collection the late Don and Barb Lanier. Here is a nice example of 19th century button making. The button is engraved brass with the remnants of a silver wash on the engraved surface. Attached are 2 detailed running dogs and a large cut steel dog house. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above Date or Era: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918 Condition Request Condition Report PLEASE NOTE: These buttons for the most part are antique and may have age related wear.
