A DIVISON ONE PEARL-TORTOISE AND GOLD BUTTON

1 Very RARE & unusual medium 18th century pierced pearl example. This rare example of 18th century pearl workmanship is made up of a nicely carved and designed shell pierced pearl base set with a colorful tortoise slightly domed center and affixed with a gold knob pinshank. Medium examples kike this are especially scarce to find and given the OME of tortoise and gold makes it so much more rare.. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4".
