A framed commemorative burgee flag from the sailboat Firefly, variously inscribed including: 'Cruise to "Sea of Cortez" Firefly', 'Applause! Applause!! Applause!!! Hollywood Palace Goes to Las Cruces, Viva El Bing!', and various signatures including Frances & Edgar Bergen, Charles Jones, Thea Bacon and Jack Anderson, framed: 18"h x 28.5"w. Note: Bing Crosby co-founded the exclusive Rancho Las Cruces resort in Baja California Sur in the late 1940s, making it a famous retreat for Hollywood celebrities. Crosby hosted the ABC variety series The Hollywood Palace (1964-1970), and this flag commemorates a group voyage to his resort by cast, crew, or guests associated with the show.
