A GOLD FOIL-DECORATED BASSE-TAILLE ENAMEL CUP AND SAUCER

China, 18th/19th c. Ø 13.2 cm. Comprising a cup with a side handle and a matching saucer, decorated in vivid green, purple and gold foil accents using the basse-taille technique over an engraved silver ground.
