A large pair of Meissen porcelain candelabra, modelled with putti and attributes referring to the four elements. Baluster-shaped stems adorned with numerous applied flowers repoussé, on tripod bases with scrolls. Each with six curved lighting arms, topped with a putto embracing a rooster. Meissen crossed sword mark in underglaze blue, incised model no. C 175, and impressed number 39. Late 19th century. H. 82.5 cm. (2)
