A 20th C. French Nancy Daum Blue Pate-de-Verre Art Glass Crystal Mythological Figural Ewer/Jug Centerpiece, Signed & Boxed. Circa: 1970. H 13". Currently Daum is the only manufacturer using the Pate De Verre (glass paste) process for art glass. It is a technique in which crushed glass is packed into a refractory mould and then fused in a kiln. It is an ancient Egyptian method of glass casting which in 1906 was revived by Daum originally used in glass window panels to create a richer color. With original box
