Abstract Epos XL 1 - Peter Nottrott

Abstract Epos XL 1 by Peter Nottrott Painting 61.0 x 39.4 :: The painting is defined by a striking contrast of colors: on the one hand cool clear turquoise and blue-to-blue-black tones; on the other warm earthy hues such as rust-orange browns and dark red. To complement these I mixed shades of green white and a touch of yellow on my palette. The richly detailed center invites the viewer to discover the many contrasts; it rises slightly from left to right lending the painting a lively and positive character. The color transitions in the background are softer and applied in broader washes. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 61.0 Height: 39.4 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 7 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
