Technically in 100% fully functioning condition (playback, recording, rewinding and tape transport operate correctly); visually in nice vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with age. For analog enthusiasts and collectors of cassette technology, the GX series from Akai is a well-established reference thanks to the Super GX heads (Glass & X’tal Ferrite). This unique ferrite head with a mirror-smooth glass coating is nearly wear-resistant, attracts significantly less tape dust than conventional permalloy heads, and guarantees a constant, loss-free high-fidelity playback over tens of thousands of hours. Additionally, the unit is equipped with Dolby B and C noise reduction, an optional MPX filter for interference-free FM recordings, and a clear FL display with a digital counter and peak meters.
