Alessandro Piano - Alter Ego Four 155 - PRINT on PET...

I have been in love with the famous LEGO bricks since I was little, and today I realize how immortal they are. Their beauty is also that they manage to make other 1980s toys immortal as well. This is the aim of my work. This is the impulse that led me to create my “Alter Ego” with 80s toys. I would like everyone to take a leap back in time and see our old toys in a different, almost immortal way. From this starting point I have also carried out new experiments with new inclusions. These are the words with which Alessandro Piano describes his work. The immediate step after creating the #AlterEgoSculpture in resin was photography and the creation of prints on PET (#AlterEgoPrint and #AlterEgoArtPrint). At auction a PET print with signature on the front, ALEPIANOtm sticker, and signature with work name and progressive number on the back. The photo number may not be the same as the one in the auction.
