Alfonso Sánchez - Ama - XXL

Description of the work “Ama” Original, unique work. Mixed media (acrylic, pigments, oil stick, charcoal, pencil, waxes, india ink and gesso) on canvas. The painting was created from free improvisation, with music by Extremoduro and Luis Eduardo Aute. A story of the past and the present. The unknown, what escapes us between our fingers.... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual. We believe ourselves to be Gods but we are only apes that came to more. Gestural, intuitive painting that lets things happen and relies on what appears. Taking advantage of accident and accepting the consequences. Need to tell things, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always modern and ancient. The work is delivered without stretcher (professional packaging, rolled in a tube). Your local framer should re-stretch it and mount it on a frame. The indicated measurements refer to the painting when stretched and mounted on a frame. The actual canvas dimensions are larger to allow mounting. Signed by hand on the back. Includes certificate of authenticity.
