Alice Parisada (1994) - God's serendipity

Offering a beautiful digital print in a limited edition of only 3 numbered copies (see certificate of authenticity among the images). The work "God's serendipity" by the Thai artist (lives in the United States) is printed on aluminum and ready to hang thanks to the metal hooks on the back. The piece has been exhibited at the LecceArredo fair and in other group exhibitions in Lecce. This artwork presents a hypnotic juxtaposition of classical and contemporary elements. A marble bust, recalling ancient Greek sculpture, emerges against a serene and dreamlike background of soft purple and blue. Beside it, a modern figure, with a smooth and exaggerated shape, leans over with an expression of awe or contemplation. The interaction between the two figures suggests a dialogue across time and style. Around them, ethereal bubbles of varying opacity float, infusing the scene with a sense of whimsy and movement. The subtle play of light and shadow in the work accentuates the textures, creating a tactile contrast between the cold marble and the warm, realistic figure. The piece captures the viewer's imagination, inviting them to explore the dialogue between history and modernity, tradition and innovation. Alice Parisada K.
