Sculpture made for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist Pope using original graphic compositions on premium vinyl polymer, designed and precisely cut, then applied manually, as well as the artisanal integration of selected accessories to create a unique artistic composition and a finished, polished look. Who is Pope? Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a distinctive artistic universe driven by a practice of the visual arts since childhood, a strong attention to detail and meticulous visual research. Through sculptures, paintings, and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and awed gaze, mindful of both the simplicity and the complexity of the world around him. Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from trends in renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few. Whether you’re shopping for a gift, a keepsake, or your personal collection of contemporary art, you’ll easily find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his urban art passion through street art (streetart) and pop art (popart) (in limited editions or not), addressing a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, the harms of drugs, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, food and fashion industry products (sport, sneakers, etc.). Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope likes to mischievously twist labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many more. Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to evaluate the lot for sale is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claim will be considered. Thank you for your understanding."
