Amber - Amber - Blauwe amber - 9 cm - 7 cm (No reserve price)

This blue amber comes directly from the source, from the mines of Sumatra, Indonesia. 100% authentic pieces of amber, guaranteed by me as an experienced seller. Indonesian amber belongs to the coveted fossil resins of Asia and is prized for its often remarkable colors, its transparency, and its interesting UV reaction. Free-form pieces of this quality with pronounced red tones, clearly visible internal structures, and intense fluorescence are relatively rare and possess a very own appeal for collectors. This impressive free-form piece of Indonesian amber fascinates with its special transparency and spectacular color variations. Honey, cognac, and smoke-brown tones alternate with deep amber areas, which, when backlit, merge into intense red and orange tones and give the piece a nearly glowing appearance. Depending on the incidence of light, new color play and reflections continually arise, making the free form appear different from every viewpoint. A special feature of this piece appears under UV light: certain parts glow in intense blue to purple shades, creating a fascinating contrast with the warm amber colors. This fluorescence gives the piece an extra dimension and makes it particularly interesting for collectors. The high-gloss polish dramatically enhances the natural beauty of the amber, while the free-form design preserves the organic structures of the original tree resin. This results in a unique display piece that is admired for both its transparency and its vivid colorfulness.
