an amazing colourful plant fossil duo - Fossilised plant - Neuropteris sp

Two beautiful stones, showing a Neuropteris part and leaves within a magnificent contrast and amazing colours! With naturally coloured leaves due to mineral gümbelite covering the fossils during a natural heating volcanic process underneath the fossilized layers that resulted in a chemical process within the fossil. The fossil is between 308 and 305 million years old.
