ecklace of terracotta beads – Ancient Egypt Elegant necklace composed of numerous terracotta beads, from ancient Egyptian tradition, currently strung forming a long strand of approximately 1 meter in length. The beads, small in size — approximately 4 mm — have a characteristic discoidal and cylindrical shape, with slight irregularities inherent to manual fabrication. They preserve an attractive range of natural tones, from ochers and sands to browns and darker earthy tones, creating a specially harmonious ensemble. The matte surface, color variations and small signs of wear contribute to the piece a marked archaeological presence. The considerable length of the necklace allows appreciating the rhythmic sequence of the beads and gives it an important decorative effect, whether exhibited in a display case or presented on a stand.
