Roman Empire Bronze Ring with Cross-Hatched Bezel – 2nd to 4th Century AD A Roman bronze finger ring featuring a slender circular hoop supporting a flat round bezel decorated with a deeply incised cross-hatched lattice pattern. The intersecting engraved lines create a simple geometric design characteristic of decorative bronze rings produced throughout the Roman provinces during the Imperial period. The surface preserves a dark brown-green archaeological patina with areas of lighter mineralization and wear consistent with prolonged burial. Despite its simple construction, the neatly arranged lattice decoration gives the ring a distinctive and attractive appearance.
