The color pigments (azure blue, prairie green, orange and purple) remain dense, matte, and free of any fading. The edition paper with wide margins is clean and fresh. • Original particularities: In keeping with their original edition for the bibliophilic work “Une Saison en Enfer” (1952), each sheet bears its original central fold as well as its slightly irregular left edge (linked to the technical separation of the publisher's cahiers). This is a sought-after mark of authenticity. • Notable details (Verso): The versos show very light and uniform aging of the paper with slight foxing and yellowing due to age. A small old oxidation spot (reddish) is visible only on the verso along the right edge of the blue spiral composition (see close-up photo), with no impact on the front face of the work.
