Andrea Roux (XX-XXI) - L’ombra della memoria

Oil painting on canvas from a collection, large in size. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Andrea Roux and with a double stamp from the Gallery. Title: The Shadow of Memory Dimensions: 70x55 cm Year: 2026 Andrea Roux was born in Nice in 1989 to an Italian-French family and lives and works in Italy. His oil painting focuses on the face as an emotional and symbolic space, through large close-ups in which eyes, lips, and fragments of the face take on an iconic strength. Inspired by European classical tradition and Italian chiaroscuro, Roux constructs images suspended between contemporary figuration and memory, where the gaze becomes the center of a quiet and intense tension. His research is expressed in the series “Custodi dello sguardo” (Keepers of the Gaze). www.instagram.com/lagalerie991/ NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipments.
