His face emerges from broad gestures painted in blue, turquoise and white. The drips and the areas left free give energy to the composition, while the eyes and facial features hold the gaze. The portrait expresses both the strength and the fragility of the subject. Born in 1987, Antoine Stevens is a French artist whose career began in graffiti. He combines acrylic painting and spray on canvas to make the precision of the portrait dialogue with the spontaneity of urban art. His works place essential emphasis on the gaze and the emotions of his subjects. #thinkagain_art
