Alla auktioner / Diverse / Antonio Martucci (1934) - Pulcinella
Antonio Martucci - Pulcinella in the artist's studio with guitar and antique objects Oil painting on board with thick impasto by master Antonio Martucci, signed by the artist at the bottom right and on the back of the frame. Raffigura un malinconico Pulcinella in costume tradizionale, seduto nel suo studio/laboratorio con una chitarra in mano. Thick, three-dimensional brushwork, characterized by strong chiaroscuro and a warm, enveloping light that emphasizes the volumes. Complete with an imposing and exquisite gold frame worked in relief. The author Antonio Martucci, born in Naples in 1934, developed his prolific artistic production from the mid-1950s onward. The painting's style combines traditional elements (such as the timeless figure of Pulcinella and the setting of an old workshop). (Dimensions of the painting without the frame: 40x30) The artwork will be packaged with the utmost care, using specific protective materials to ensure shipping is completely safe. Any damage to the frame will not be a valid reason for complaints or order cancellations.”
