Antony Squizzato - The Birds convention

Acrylic on canvas, straight from artist studio. Signed TP1 (Tony Pigeon One) on bottom left, and "Squizzato" on the back. TP1 is a new series of paintings by Squizzato, signed under a different name to mark a departure from his usual practice. Influenced by street culture and Figuration Libre, the series embraces looser, more spontaneous forms, bolder outlines and a rawer, more uninhibited visual language. It offers a space for creative freedom, a way to break away from the carefully structured compositions and controlled geometric vocabulary that define his work as Squizzato. One-of-a-kind original artwork. Entirely handmade, with no AI or digital tools used at any stage of the creative process. No edition, no duplicate — this is the only original piece. Delivered with authenticity files (sent in PDF) "Bold solid colors and playful geometric shapes underline the signature of contemporary French artist Antony Squizzato. His eye-catching work is a fusion of elements from Pop Art, Cubism, Bauhaus and Suprematism." His creations are organized into distinct series, each embodying its own unique approach. Some are precise and methodical, inspired by architecture and geometric abstraction, while others are instinctive and raw, featuring distorted portraits, snapshots of fleeting moments, or individuals lost in their contemporary solitude. For Squizzato, art is an infinite field of freedom—a way to transcend standardization, classification, and the monotony of everyday life. He enjoys juggling between traditional painting tools in the studio and an intensive use of new technologies to make technique obsolete, prioritize emotion, and create a body of work that is both classical and contemporary. Since 2015, his work has been regularly exhibited and included in private collections worldwide.
