Apple Macintosh Plus ED (Educational) – with transition...

Macintosh Plus ED (Educational) system from the late 1980s. With a rare factory packaging variation. Matching Serial Numbers: A true Matching Numbers set. The serial number printed on the Macintosh computer unit completely matches the original warehouse barcode sticker on the cardboard box. Rare Transition Box Variant: The "ED" models were exclusively distributed to schools and universities. To quickly fulfill early educational orders, Apple utilized existing standard Macintosh Plus boxes and manually applied an official "ED" typography sticker overlay (in the iconic Apple Garamond font) over the front print. The system currently does not power on. The exact cause is unknown as it has not been inspected or diagnosed further. The original styrofoam packaging insert is missing What is Included in This Lot?
