Primo GMT Bronze is a diver’s watch built with a material that very few actually use: solid marine bronze CuSn6, the alloy employed in naval environments to resist saltwater. Not a coating, not a superficial treatment applied to steel: the case, bezel and crown are bronze through and through, from the exterior to the core. Bronze reacts to air, skin, and salt spray, and over time develops a patina that no other watch will have: it darkens in the engravings, lightens where the sleeve rubbing polishes it.
