Arcopal - Coffee service (12) - Volcan - Opaline glass - French 70s Design

Arcopal ‘Volcan’ | Six cups and six saucers of opal glass | France, 1970s | Unused! With some cups you want to pour right away. With these, you first want to set the table. This twelve-piece Arcopal ‘Volcan’ service brings the 70s back in their most beautiful form: glossy caramel, honey-yellow nuances and warm brown rims. Fine ribbing follows the round shapes, while the flame-colored gradient gives each cup its own drawing. Almost too pretty to put away after coffee. Six cups, six matching saucers and never used. The first coffee is for you. The dinnerware is made of opaline glass, also known as opal glass. The glossy finish and color nuances give it the look of glazed earthenware. Beautiful beside linen, dark wood, and brass, but also on a neatly set table where the caramel hue takes center stage. For the coming holidays you can already picture it: a long Christmas brunch, fresh coffee after dinner, and chocolates on the saucers. Or a quiet morning when you keep the beautiful service all to yourself. Waiting for a special occasion has waited long enough with this set. A gift for lovers of French vintage dinnerware and seventies interiors. Also lovely in a display cabinet or on an open shelf in a carefully arranged kitchen.
