Armchair (2) - Bergère armchairs in carved gold-lacquered wood. - Textile, Wood

A splendid pair of armchairs with a strong stage presence and a decoratively Baroque / Italian Barocchetto imprint, featuring flowing lines and rich ornamentation details. The wooden frame features a refined gilded finish, enhanced by carvings and decorative motifs along the edge of the seat, the armrests, and the base. The front legs, sinuous and elaborately worked, end in small ornamental elements that further emphasize the precious character of the whole. The chairs are completely upholstered in an elegant floral fabric, with ramage and flower motifs in cream, antique pink and green tones, creating a pleasant contrast with the gilding of the frame. The seat is wide and inviting, completed by soft padded cushions. The design evokes the taste of Baroque and Rococo furnishings, reinterpreted in a more contemporary key: a type of furniture intended for representative environments, where the decorative aspect and the richness of the details play a central role. A particularly scenographic pair, ideal for elegant living rooms, entrances, boutiques, photoshoots or eclectic-styled spaces, where it can become a true focal element. They show normal signs of wear due to age and use as in the photos.
