Alla auktioner / Diverse / Armchair - Organic Armchair - Rattan - Iconic Lotus armchair
Iconic Lotus lounge chair, characterized by its distinctive low, wide, enveloping shape, inspired by the lotus flower's corolla. This type of seating originated in the context of the alternative culture and design of the 1960s/1970s, and was appreciated also for meditation, yoga and moments of relaxation, thanks to its low, compact position and seating close to the floor. The chair's organic, sinuous lines give it a strong sculptural presence, making it today an interesting interior furnishing element for vintage, modernist and eclectic interiors. A piece from the United Kingdom, with a decidedly original and decorative character.
