Description: Item/Description: Pair of early 20th-century bookends depicting a Native American chief in a full feather headdress. Representing the traditional Native American "whirling logs" or good luck symbol, this motif was widely used in Western decorative arts before being discontinued in the late 1930s. (Antique Metal Bookends, Native American Collectibles, Art Deco Cast Metal Bookends) Material: Cast Metal Dimensions: Length: 1 3/4"; Width: 4 1/4"; Height: 3 3/4" Condition: Signs of age, use, and wear include surface oxidation, loss to the original finish, minor pitting, and accumulated grime across the textured details.
